Meet Our Elder Care Comfort Keepers® in Memphis, TN & Surrounding Areas
Comfort Keepers of Memphis, TN elder care providers are uniquely qualified and ready to help.
While great caregivers are the heart and soul of Comfort Keepers of Memphis, our elder care administrative staff plays a key role as well. We respect the power of "moments of truth"—customer interactions—which is why our hiring standards are so high.
Caregivers: Our caregivers are the blood and lifeline of our senior living business. Our elder care providers represent who we are and what we stand for.
Administrative Staff: Our staff interface with caregivers and clients every day. At Comfort Keepers, our staff’s performance must be continuously superior if we are to honor our vision of being an extension of the families we are privileged to serve.
Autonomy and Decision-Making: Decisions on client care must be sound and in harmony with our vision if our service standards are to be upheld. Caregiver judgment must be channeled by selective hiring and situation-appropriate training. Hiring the right caregivers—exclusively—has been the foundation of Comfort Keepers’ success.
We embrace the bond we share with all our co-workers—administrative and caregivers—for in their hands rests the Comfort Keepers brand we have worked so diligently to nourish since 2001.

Cary and Wendy Rotter
We launched Comfort Keepers in the greater Memphis and northwest Mississippi area in 2001 with a vision to be the best senior care provider anywhere and to be an extension of the families we are privileged to serve. Our commitment is to hire and retain the best caregivers in the market and to place the best caregivers possible on every assignment. Most staffing companies cut corners when it comes to hiring and placing workers. At Comfort Keepers we never make this mistake. We have built a wonderful reputation by honoring the trust our healthcare colleagues and families place in us. In fact, they routinely refer us to their patients and residents and use our services for their own family members.
In our first decade of business, we lost three of our parents. We used Comfort Keepers caregivers extensively and know first-hand what a tremendous difference our services can make for families. We have served thousands of families in the Mid-South with distinction. We are proud of this success but sensitive to the fact that our business must be earned every day. Importantly, we feel obligated to be immersed in our industry and to give back to our community. We serve on multiple boards that promote senior care, advocacy, social services to the needy, and assistance at multiple levels locally and nationally.
Cary is a native Memphian with a B.S. degree from the University of Memphis and has significant experience in staffing and business management, including working for a Fortune 250 corporation. He has a unique perspective and significant insights on senior care, has authored multiple published articles on senior care and its implications for families and businesses, and is frequently invited as a speaker.
Wendy, originally from Columbia, Tennessee, has lived in Memphis for over 25 years since earning a B.A. from Rhodes College. Prior to Comfort Keepers she worked extensively in the banking and nonprofit development arenas, including First Tennessee, Rhodes College, and The Campbell Clinic Foundation.
The Rotters have two children, Rachel and Jacob.

Mandi Burns joined the Comfort Keepers team as a Nurse Case Manager in April 2018. Mandi graduated from Methodist School of Nursing in 2003 and quickly developed a love for geriatric nursing. She entered the senior care industry in 2005 in the skilled nursing setting. That experience led her to develop an understanding for what various levels of care and resources are available to seniors. Mandi is genuinely passionate about helping others and wants to continue to help seniors and their families navigate through the various levels of care available by educating them so that they can make informed decisions. Her goal with Comfort Keepers is to effectively communicate the needs of our clients to our team and to be an advocate for those we serve in any way that she can.
